School Council Elections

Today I want to think about democracy. MP's are members of Parliament. They come from all over England to represent the people of England. We have a similar system with the school council. Students from across the school come together to represent your views and create a link between staff and the students.

If you would like to run for school council you need to add a comment that explains why you would like to be on the council and why your form should vote for you. If you dont want to be on the school council you still have a part to paly. Add a comment explaining what you want from the people who are running for council. Give them ideas, suggestions, do they agree with you?

Challenge

Over the last few weeks we having been talking about commitment, cooperation, challenge and care. These all form part of the school vision.

I want you to think about a time when you were challenged. Perhaps when you overcame something you found difficult for example the first time you learnt to swim or ride a bicycle? Remember the group will be able to see your ideas so make sure its something you dont mind sharing.
